My name is Chelsea and I am a keen creative. Currently studying on the MSc Digital Marketing at Oxford Brookes University, I’m eager to learn and develop my skills and knowledge in the industry.

With my BA (Hons) Photography from Arts University Bournemouth, I am especially interested in content creation and consumer journeys.

My upcoming dissertation will explore Instagram’s impact on UK Gen Z’s visit intention to Art Museums.

MSc DIGITAL MARKETING

I am currently in my final months studying MSc Digital Marketing at Oxford Brookes University.

Since beginning my studies I have completed units such as ‘The Principles of Marketing’, ‘Digital Marketing Strategy’ and ‘Understanding Consumer Behaviour’. In addition, ‘Digital Marketing Analytics’ challenged me to create online channels for a fictional business, the results of which can be seen here.

Currently, I am working on my dissertation which explores how Instagram can be used to improve footfall of UK Gen Z to Art Museums.

Pretty & Sweet Bakery

Working on the Data Analytics unit, on the MSc Digital Marketing at Oxford Brookes University, I created a microsite, Instagram and Facebook for a fictional business, ‘Pretty & Sweet Bakery’.

Using my own photographs, I created a Microsite, Instagram and Facebook to disseminate to the public. Later, I used GA4 and Meta Business Suite to analyse the demographics and behaviours of the viewers of my microsite and social media channels.

Social Media Coordinator

I planned, created, scheduled and posted social media content for the AUB 2023 Photography Graduate Exhibition. I created behind the scenes content, artists profiles, marketing and events posts in addition to engaging with followers in comments and messages.

PHOTOGRAPHIC PRACTICE

During studies for my BA Photography Degree I have developed my skills surrounding photography and refined my critical eye in areas such as composition, colour, lighting and the physical design of images. I have explored and experimented with various photographic genres and I am curious about the idea of the ‘everyday’ and its connotations for individuals.

Photography has allowed me to develop advanced skills in image editing and the use of software such as Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom Classic.

The Future

My Aims

My aim is to gain experience and explore different roles within digital marketing. I am particularly interested in areas such as content creation and consumer journeys, but I am keen to explore as much of digital marketing as possible.

I am excited to learn from industry experts and absorb knowledge while developing my skills.

Further into the future, I would like to work as a digital marketer in industries such as the arts, fashion and publishing; collaborating with creative minds and working on innovative projects.
